Teaching and Training

We are a practice that prides itself on its quality of care, and so are keen to train doctors of the future.

Currently, Dr Dobie and Dr Kashif train Registrars (GPs in training), and Dr Stone and Dr Kashif teach medical students. A fundamental part of the future doctors’ training is to learn from sitting in consultations, and from spending time with patients discussing their problems. When booking an appointment you may, therefore, be asked if a registrar or student can sit in with you on your consultation; or you may be contacted to ask if you would like to come in to help train our students.

Clearly we appreciate your help with this, and if you are agreeable then you will be asked to sign a consent form in reception. However, you are under no obligation to have the registrar or student in attendance so if you are not keen to do so then please say.
