Strictly, this is not NHS work, but the practice provides the service free-of-charge, except for the cost of certain vaccines and medications: vaccinations provided free of charge include diphtheria, tetanus, polio, typhoid and Hepatitis A. Vaccinations that incur a charge (costs will vary) are Hepatitis B, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, Tick-borne encephalitis and the meningitis vaccination for the Hajj. Some anti-malarials are available over the counter at pharmacies; a private prescription is necessary for others, and there will be charge both at the practice and the pharmacy.

There are alternative providers available for private travel advice.
